Niger Gov Directs Commissioners to Prepare Handover Notes

The Governor of Niger State, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has directed commissioners to prepare comprehensive handover notes for the next administration. He gave the directive on Wednesday in Minna, while inaugurating a 27-man transition committee to midwife the handover next month.
Aliyu urged commissioners and other key government officials to ensure they prepared proper records, in order to aid the incoming government in its duty. “Allegations from those who do not understand the workings of government are already flying around that I need to account for certain government actions. It is, therefore, imperative for us to present comprehensive records of government activities in various ministries,” Aliyu said.
