New Oyo Federal Varsity Sets March 6 for Pioneer Student Resumption

The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO), has officially announced Friday, March 6, 2026, as the resumption date for its pioneer set of students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The date was ratified during the university’s inaugural statutory Senate meeting  held on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, where the academic roadmap for the institution’s take-off was finalized.

In a statement released on Friday, the Registrar and Secretary to the University Senate, Amuni Mohammed Olayinka, confirmed that the Senate’s decision was based on comprehensive reports detailing the institution’s readiness.

He stated that the University Senate received reports from the University Management and Committee of Deans and Directors regarding the preparedness for students’ resumption and subsequently took far-reaching decisions to ensure a smooth transition and the wellness of the incoming students.
