New GOC Task Officers To Be Security Conscious

The Acting General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigeria Army, Brigadier General Peter Dauke, has tasked Officers and Soldiers to be security conscious at all times.

Gen. Dauke, took over as Acting GOC ‘3div’ from Brigadier General Elvis Njoku, who has also been in acting capacity following the tragic road accident involving the substantive Acting General Officer Commanding, Brigadier General Mohammed Aliyu.

Daily Times observed that crime and criminality is on the rise following the economic down turn, hence the need for security operatives to step up their game.

However, before Dauke took over as the new Acting GOC, he was the Acting Commander Headquarters Training and Doctrine Commander Mina.

The handing over ceremony was successfully conducted recently, at the 3 Division Headquarters, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
