NCF Boss Wins House of Reps Seat
President of the Nigeria Cycling Federation (NCF), Alhaji Mohammad Nur Sheriff, has won a seat into the Federal House of Representatives from Kata Badge Ngala and Bama constituency of Borno State under the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket.
Mohammed Bashir, the Technical Director of the Federation, told Extra Time that the president promised to use his position to improve the fortune of cycling in Nigeria.
“My president has just been elected into the House of Representatives in last Saturday’s general elections.
“We at the Federation are happy and have sent him a congratulatory message,” he said.
Speaking after his success in the election, the NCF boss said, the victory was to all especially the cycling family and promised to take cycling to greater heights.
