Nasarawa lawmaker appoints 106 aides to boost ‘inclusive leadership’

Musa Gude, member representing Uke/Karshi Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has announced the appointment of 106 aides to support his work and enhance service delivery to his people.

Gude, who was elected on the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lafia on Tuesday.

“I want to disclose that I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000, and N10,000, respectively,” he said.

The lawmaker explained that the move was not only to strengthen inclusive leadership but also to uplift the standard of living of the aides and their families.

As part of his constituency projects, Gude said he had provided several boreholes, paid WAEC fees for many students, and supported farmers.

“I have done my best in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure and other areas. I have also empowered many constituents to enable them to become self-reliant,” he added.

He assured residents of continued effective representation in the state legislature and appealed for unity among his constituents.

“I urge my constituents to live in unity, peace, and tolerance, regardless of their differences,” Gude said.
