Nasarawa: Herdsman rapes woman, asks her to go for HIV test
It was not easy for a 28 years old woman in Kuduku community a suburb of Keana town in Keana Local Government area of Nasarawa State as a woman name withheld was forcefully raped by a suspected Fulani herdsman after which he asked her to go for test because he was HIV positive.
The incident which took place over the weekend as two women were heading to Kuduku from a neighbouring village to attend a funeral ceremony where a Fulani man on sighting them, removed his cutlass from its shell and went straigth to the younger one and demanded to have sex with her or lose her life.
The victim’s words: “We were attending a funeral ceremony of one of our late aunt when a Fulani man saw us he ran after us asking me to stop or lose my life, I did not continue the situation despite the marathon speed I ran”.
Accordingly, she informed that the Fulani man directed that her to pull and lie down quickly for he wanted to have sex with her, if she really wanted to see the next day.
