MultiChoice Africa adds more value to DStv Compact with the addition of FOX channel

FOX Networks Group (FNG) and MultiChoice Africa have announced that from June 1, 2016, DStv Compact subscribers will be able to enjoy the global entertainment channel, FOX (DStv channel 125) on their bouquet.
FOX channel is a premier entertainment channel that prides itself with bringing ‘The Best, First’, with award winning, ground-breaking and critically acclaimed programming. The move to DStv Compact will significantly increase FOX’s reach to a wider audience, creating new fans of its riveting entertainment in the African market.
As part of MultiChoice ongoing efforts to add value to our subscribers’ viewing experience, DStv Compact subscribers will now get to experience the thrilling and exclusive premieres of the best shows on FOX within hours of the United States broadcast at no extra cost! The hot lineup includes the popular and powerful hit television drama, Empire in which Taraji P. Henson portrays the feisty ‘Cookie Lyon’ with flashy fashion sense and witty remarks, opposite her ex-husband and the ruthless head of the Lyon empire, ‘Lucious Lyon’ played by Academy Award® nominee, Terrence Howard.
Furthermore, DStv and FOX are also offering DStv Compact subscribers a rebroadcast of the second season of Empire with double bill episodes starting on the weekends of the 4th and 5th of June, 11th and 12th of June and 18th and 19th June – three episodes will air per day at 6:20pm, 7:10pm and 8pm.
The month of June will also see the premiere of the much-anticipated second season of Wayward Pines on the 6that 8pm, from executive producer M.
