Sulley Muntari, a former Ghanaian International, has described Jose Mourinho as the best manager in the world.
Muntari speaking on an Instagram Live programme said his time with the Portuguese current Tottenham manager was the best of his career. According to him, he loves Milan a lot.
He said his former club, AC Milan, are capable of playing in the Champions League again.
“I love Milan and I hope they will compete again in the Champions League because, in AC Milan, there are champions like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and other players like Rebic from Frankfurt, Calhanoglu. I like Donnarumma, he’s a giant.
Alessio Romagnoli, the captain is a very good player.” “I remember the important time I spent at Inter Milan because there I won many trophies.
I remember some of my teammates Julio Cesar, Zanetti, Chivu, Wesley Schneider, all of them, Cambiasso, Eto’o, Stankovic Motta, Toldo, Julio Cezar, Maicon and Ivan. It was a great time. Talk about Figo and others and others.
And our manager, Mourinho. The best manager in the world. My experience with him was amazing.” Muntari, who was former teammates with Mario Balotelli said the much maligned attacker is a very talented player that many don’t understand. “Mario Balotelli is a spectacular guy and he’s very talented.
For me he’s a very good guy, many people don’t know him but for me he’s spectacular.” Describing Romelu Lukaku as an animal, he said opposition goalkeepers don’t find it very simple against the Belgian attacker.
“Romelu Lukaku – he’s an animal against opposition goalkeepers because he’s a lethal striker, an incredible one.
He had a really good season, not only scoring goals but he’s a leader, he carries the team. Antonio Conte for me is a perfect manager.”
Muntari spoke further about Kevin Prince Boateng and the kind of character he brings. He said it was always difficult stopping him as an opposition.
In his recall of his days against Barcelona, he said he always played very carefully against Barcelona because of the presence of Messi, Iniesta and others.

“Kevin Prince Boateng. An amazing guy. Super player, I had an amazing time with him. While I was playing for Portsmouth and I had a good time, I got the better of every player I played against, I tackled well and I got the balls a lot but playing against Tottenham, I never saw the ball, it was such a difficult opponent and that was Kelvin- Prince. I didn’t even know but I later found out it was him.
“Barcelona is one of the biggest teams in the world. They are amazing with a great history of winning with the old players that left during the time of Samuel Eto’o, Xavi, Iniesta and the likes.
When you play them you need to be on your level otherwise they will finish you. With Messi also, you have to be extra careful.
Whenever i play against Barca, I am always extra careful. It is always a great time when we play against Barca.”
