Monalisa Chinda, Desmond Elliot, Others Join Kidney Walk Campaign

Nollywood key players led by actress Monalisa Chinda and Desmond Elliot teamed up to join Emmanuel Ugolee and the Juliet Ibrahim Foundation for the Kidney Diseases Awareness walk which took place over the weekend. The exercise which was to create awareness and to sensitize people about the disease that affects majority of people all over the world had others like Julius Agwu, Ayo Makun , Praiz, Sound Sultan, Yaw, Audu Maikori, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and a host of others who joined in the walk. To further highlight the dangers of kidney disease, was a consultant nephrologists, Dr Adebowale Adewunmi. He was on ground to expatiate further on the  fact that if the disease is discovered early, it can slow down its progression, adding that most times the kidney is usually 70 per cent gone before the disease is discovered and in an advanced stage when it is already late.
