Following the announcement by INEC of Alhaji Tanko Umar Al-makura of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Nasarawa state, Miyetti Allah
Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association has urged the governor-elect to fashion out policies and programmes that would benefit the entire people of the state.
The Miyetti Allah also stated that its members are prepared to support Al-makura achieve in the area of peace in Nasarawa state.
Speaking to journalist shortly after meeting with Hausa/Fulani community in Tudun Wada at the association national headquarters in Nasarawa state, national President of the association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, affirmed that Fulani pastoralist respect the out come of the poll, adding that citizen of Nasarawa state have demonstrated through the ballot that democracy has come to stay.
He appealed to the governor-elect to see the whole state as his constituency and not target areas he believes did not vote for him.
“I know governor Al-makura to be a peace leader, he deserve his re-election because he has developed Nasarawa state and created peaceful atmosphere for the citizen,” Bodejo said.
The Fulani leader promised to mobilize its members to support the administration of Al-makura in order for him to achieve in his second term tenure without any problems.
“The Miyei Allah Kautal Hore is congratulating you and wishes you the best in your second term in office. We also want you to continue with your peaceful co-existence among all the ethnic groups in the state.
