In a historic and transformative event, the Mikang Local Government Area of Plateau State has inaugurated the executives of the Plateau Youth Council (PYC) in the four districts of Montol, Piapung, Koenoem, and Garkawa.

The ceremony also marked the official launch of the SOEPDING UNITY CONNECT initiative, a groundbreaking project aimed at fostering unity and collaboration among the youth of Mikang.

The event, held at the council headquarters in Tungkus, was graced by the Executive Chairman of Mikang Local Government Council, Hon. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of unity and collective responsibility as the foundation for the progress and development of Mikang.

Hon. Alkali highlighted his administration’s commitment to people-oriented governance and praised the PYC executives for stepping into leadership roles at a pivotal time. “The greatness of Mikang relies on the collective responsibility we embrace as a people.
