Meet the youngest Video Director; Lanre ‘Genesis’ of Madhouse

For 22 years old Genesis Lanre Lawanson who doubles as the C.E.O of Mad House outfit; his passion for video directing is self -driven having been raised by a single mother; Lanre’s zeal is not just to be counted as one of the video directors in the country presently but to be listed among the most successful directors who art is appreciated by the world generally

The Guidance and counseling graduate from Ekiti State University kicked off as a Model in 2011 having featured in countless ads for top brands that includes Nestle, Dangote, Hollandia, MTN, GLO, Etisalat, and Nokia amongst others. His passion for modeling and fashion birthed his love for photography.

As young as Lanre is as a video director, it will interest you to know that his first take on video directing was in October 2014 for a Headies’ Lyricist On The Roll nominee, Posly TD’s ‘Public Announcement’ in November 2014 and thereafter got the call from star boy one of the Nigeria’s hit-makers, Wizkid, to shoot the video for ‘Wonder’, Ice prince Ft.  Iyanya – freestyle, Oritsefemi – Bursting my brain, Minjin – Philo, Bigsys – baby Mi amongst others.

With 2017 already look positive for the young lad; Lanre disclosed that he will be working on new projects this year with Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Oritsefemi to mention but few.

However, he is equally a script writer and concept developer.
