MDAs Board inauguration: Oshiomhole warns ministers over disrespect
The National chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has advised the Ministers of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige and Minister of State Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika, to inaugurate all the Boards under their Ministries within one week or face the wrath of the party.
Daily Times recalls that the APC led administration had earlier in March ordered all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), of government to inaugurate their boards according to the law.
In a letter addressed to the Ministers, dated 11th July 2018, the APC chairman frowned that the Ministers have failed to reconstitute the Boards which according to him contravened the position of the National Executive Council and the Presidential directives to all Ministers, describing it as a great disrespect to the party.
Oshiomhole in the letter stated that the party will henceforth no longer tolerate any appointee of government at all levels who continue to wilfully disregard lawful instructions from either the government or the party.
