“Today this happened to us and many people say it is a new Hand of God,”

. “But today I’m asking for that hand to end this pandemic so people can go back to living their lives, healthy and happy.”

“Hopefully it is understood that we have to face what’s coming together, for the good of football. No-one is like Rambo in this war, because even Rambo loses against this.” said Maradona,

Argentina on Friday  said it has completely sealed off its borders even to its own citizens in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

The government announced that the move would last until Wednesday.

Almost two weeks ago, Argentina had already closed its borders to foreigners.

According to a report in the newspaper La Nacion, about 12,000 Argentinians have since been brought home from abroad on repatriation flights.

Another 10,000 are said to have been stranded abroad.

So far, 590 people in Argentina have been infected with the novel coronavirus and 14 patients have died.

Extensive lockdown restrictions have been in place for a week.

Until March 31, people are no longer allowed to leave their houses and apartments nationwide.

Only trips to nearby grocery stores and pharmacies are permitted. Media reports in the country widely expect that the curfew will be extended.
