Man removes PPE after Kyari’s burial in Abuja

A man was spotted removing his Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) after the interment of President Muhammadu Buhar’s Chief of Staff Mallam Abba Kyari in Abuja

Malam Abba Kyari  died yesterday from complication from coronavirus COVID-19 and was interred today in Abuja

The remains of the late Chief of Staff to the President, arrived Abuja on Saturday morning from Lagos, and was buried at Gudu cemetery after funeral prayers at his residence.

And as the body was being moved from the ambulance by NCDC staff, safety measures were observed.

Hand gloves and sanitisers were being shared, as all cleaned their hands and wore gloves.

Malam Garba Shehu, the President’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, had said that as advised by the protocols put in place by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) and the Federal Ministry of Health on social distancing, the burial marks the end of all ceremonies and there will be no condolence visits to family and the Presidency.
