Man kills his mother with machete in Osun

The Akinleye village via Osu in Osun State was thrown into mourning as a man identified as Kazeem Ayoola allegedly killed his mother, Taibat.

It was learnt that Kazeem attacked his mother with a machete and took the life of the 85-year-old woman.

The incident caused confusion in the village and the reason for Kazeem’s action could not be ascertain at the time of filing this reports.

The Police Public Relations Officer for Osun State Police Command, SP Folasade Odoro confirmed the incident and assured that the matter is under investigation.

The PPRO said Kazeem has been arrested by the police and that the corpse of his mother has been deposited at the mortuary of the Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife for autopsy.
