Man hacks his 38-year-old son to death

A middle-aged man identified as Onyenwe Offor Ajah has reportedly hacked his 38- year-old son, Kenneth Ajah, to death. Ajah. who hails from Ameke-Enu Oduma in Aninri local government Area of Enugu State, was said to gave killed his son during an argument. But the circumstances that led to the untimely death of Kenneth is yet to be established.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Enugu by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Ebere Amaraizu, said that the unfortunate incident took place on the 28 of March,b2018 at about 4.30pm.

According to the statement, trouble ensued at Orie Oduma Market between the father and his son while the former allegedly used an object to hit Kenneth on his head.

It was further gathered that Ajah Kenneth later became unconscious and was later confirmed dead. Meanwhile, the deceased body has been deposited at Awgu District General Hospital Mortuary while manhunt on the fleeing suspect (the father) has commenced.
