Man flees as bandits murder uncle, family members

A middle aged man, Menchang Amos Bako from Langtan village, in Tarok L.G.A of Plateau State has fled after a deadly attack on his relatives by bandits terrorising the area.
Menchang, a talented goalkeeper and his family members were attacked by the terrorists after they were labelled informants.
A source privy to the incident told our correspondent that the deadly group attacked Menchang’s uncle and his family in Kano State, murdering five of them in the process.

“Menchang Amos managed to escape after been attacked and was stabbed in his neck and since then, he has been leaving in shadows all his life.
“The young talented goalkeeper made a report to the security agencies but no arrest was made.

“It was some of his friends that helped him when he was stabbed three times at the back of his neck; the injury almost took his life but he eventually survived it.
“Menchang is among the people they branded as informants and have vowed to exterminate them.
*Since then, no one has heard from him or seen him. Our prayer is that he finds justice one day,” the concerned local said.
