Man declared wanted in Katsina after escaping mob action, friend lynched to death

An Igbo man from Enugu, South-East Nigeria, Mr Uzo Kenneth Ifeanyi escaped death by the whiskers last February after he was caught red-handed engaging in illegal sexual activity.
The suspect, Ifeanyi, who has lived in Katsina for over 3 years was caught pants down with a fellow man, an action that is against both Nigeria Constitution and the Sharia law.
According to Police authorities in the state, while Mr Uzo Kenneth Ifeanyi escaped from the angry mob, his partner was not that lucky as he was mobbed to death before the arrival of the security personnel.

The victim was taken to the hospital where he was confirmed dead by doctor on duty, adding that “his remains have been deposited in the mortuary.”
“As for Mr Ifeanyi, he has been declared wanted and we urge the members of the public to provide us with useful information that could aid his arrest and prosecution in accordance with the law,” the police further stated.
