Man abandons wife and four kids for new lover
43-year-old Ekundayo Sholake, who works in an oil company, has allegedly abandoned his wife, a police sergeant, and four children since September 2015. He allegedly absconded with a new lover simply identified as Onome.
His estranged wife and four children – Damilola (9), Oladele (8), Kayode (5) and Abiodun (4) are now said to be taking refuge at the Police Barracks in Warri as they go through unbearable conditions.
A source, who craved anonymity, disclosed that the four children hardly eat, cloth or go to school.
Going further, the source stated that Sholake allegedly packed out of his matrimonial home and joined his lover who is resident in a suburb of the neighboring council area because his wife failed to provide him some financial assistance when he was sick which led him to his sack from his former place of work.
Onnlive source added that Sholake who has now secured another job in another oil company, allegedly threw away the wedding ring and threatened to deal with his wife if she does not pack out of his house.
When contacted, Sholake retorted:”Is that what she came to tell you? There’s nothing as such. That’s a false story and you should disregard it. I am a man of integrity. I don’t have any bad intention against anybody. I love my wife, I love my children. Maybe, that’s a mix up.”
