Makinde’s bursary award holds tomorrow

The annual Seyi Makinde bursary award will take place on Monday, 23rd March, 2015 at Prof. Ogunlesi Hall, opposite UCH main gate, 9am prompt.

The award is being sponsored by Engr. Seyi Makinde, the governorship candidate of the ‎Social Democratic Party, SDP in the coming election in Oyo state.

A statement by the organisers of the award said 1500 students who are indigenes of Oyo state have been selected to benefit from the award.

The selected students are chosen across various higher institutions in the country.
The awardees have been notified to make themselves available at the venue of the presentation by 8am together with their parents/guardians.
In the last 10 years, Seyi Makinde has been funding education of indigent students from all parts of Oyo state, spending millions of naira to prosecute the project annually.
