Maina: Buhari receives report from HOSF

President Muhammadu Buhari has received the report of how fugitive Abdulrasheed Maina was reinstated to the civil service.

The Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, received the report on behalf of the President.

Confirming the development on Monday night, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, stated that Head of Service of the Federation HOWinifred Oyo-Ita, submitted the report to the Chief of Staff, Mr Abba Kyari, on Monday evening as directed.

Adesina spoke during a live Channels Television news programme on Monday night.

The presidential spokesman had earlier in the day confirmed that Buhari ordered the sacking of Maina and “demanded a full report of the circumstances of Maina’s recall and posting to the Ministry of Interior.”
