Daily Times recalls that Maguire has been withdrawn from England team after a week incident that changed his life and put his career in danger.
A Greek court found the 27-year-old guilty of three charges.
Meanwhile the hearing commenced on Tuesday, although English player was not present having been released from custody over the weekend.
His lawyer, Alexis Anagnostakis, attempted to postpone the trial having only received the charge sheet two hours prior, but it went ahead as planned and Maguire was shown no sympathy by the judges.
