Luova Group Marks 15 Years of Creative Excellence, Unveils Ambitious Global Growth Plans
By Godwin Anyebe
Luova Group, one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising creative conglomerates, has celebrated its 15th anniversary, marking a milestone defined by resilience, innovation, and its emergence as a dominant force in Africa’s creative and marketing ecosystem.
Founded in 2010 as Tobems Production, the company has transformed from a one-man operation with a single camera into a multi-subsidiary creative enterprise comprising Tobems Production, Trois Sitini, and Tash Studios. Across 15 years, Luova Group has delivered high-impact marketing campaigns, executed major multimedia productions, managed large-scale events across Nigeria and beyond, and facilitated two Guinness World Record projects, placing the brand among Africa’s top creative powerhouses.
At the anniversary celebration in Lagos, Group Managing Director Tosin Obembe reflected on the organisation’s evolution, recounting its growth from modest beginnings to a diversified creative empire shaping brand storytelling, cultural narratives, and modern media experiences.
“Today is not just a celebration. It is 15 years of a dream that refused to die,” Obembe said. “This journey started with one young man, one big dream, and one small camera. People say if you survive five years, you are serious; if you reach ten years, you are building something — today, we are celebrating fifteen.”
Obembe highlighted the Group’s transition into a structured, multi-company creative ecosystem that has worked with global brands, managed flagship events, and expanded into talent development, production, media, and strategic communication. He noted that Luova’s ability to withstand market disruptions, economic cycles, and the pandemic was anchored by “a committed core and a family of believers.”
Expressing gratitude, he added, “To everyone who has been part of this journey, every staff member, every creative, every client, every partner, thank you. Your belief built this company.”
The anniversary celebration brought together industry leaders, clients, and long-term collaborators of the Group. The event also honoured outstanding staff whose innovation, consistency, and creativity have powered the company’s long-term success.
Looking ahead, Luova Group announced that its next chapter will focus on international expansion, deeper pan-African collaboration, and pioneering creative solutions that further influence the continent’s creative economy. Strengthened business processes, new strategic partnerships, and an increasingly innovative workforce will anchor the Group’s ambitions for global competitiveness.
