LP Sen Candidate Attacked by Hoodlums in Osun

Senatorial candidate of Labour Party, Mrs. Romoke Edu-Ogunlana narrowly escaped death this morning as thugs attacked her convoy in Ikire, Irewole local government of Osun State.

She was, however, not lucky as she sustained deep cut on her right arm while her new hilux van was burnt.

The former commissioner who is currently receiving medical attention at a private hospital accused the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Irewole/Isokan/Ayedire Federal Constituency, who lost yesterday’s election to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress as the person responsible for the act.

She alleged that “I was responsible for his defeat in the hands of the APC”.

Though she had reported the case, she said that the PDP was trying to‎ rope in the APC for the act.
