By George Kajo
The Managing Director of Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority, Engr. Terese Ninga, has lauded the doggedness of Governor Hyacinth Alia in leading Benue State to higher heights within two years in office.
He stated this against the back drop of the visit by the Board of Trustee (BOT) of the Divine Mandate and pledged unflinching support at all times, saying, the visit has given him temerity to lead in his present position knowing that there are great people behind him.
He lamented the ignorance of many people who do not know that Governor Alia is trying to retain the wealth of Benue State, and encouraged the Governor to continue upon all odds, promising to lend his support whenever it is needed for greater impact.
Engineer Ninga stated that Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority (LBRBDA) has the mandate of providing surface and underground water to the people of Benue, Plateau, Nasarawa, and Kogi, and to make agriculture infrastructure and tools available to the states.
