We ‘ll purchase form for Umahi – Group

The People of Ebonyi South senatorial zone under the aegis of Ebonyi South Public Officers Forum, Wednesday declared their readiness to purchase the nomination form for the re-election of Governor Dave Umahi for 2019 general election.

Speaking by a way of motion moved by the Chairman of Afikpo South Local Council of the state, Chief Eni Uduma Chima, President of the Forum and Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Chief Odefa Obasi said they adopted Governor Umahi as a sole candidate in the 2019 general election because of his developmental programmes.

Chief Odefa said the forum having witnessed the monumental development in Ebonyi State have decided to in addition to his adoption as a sole candidate in the PDP from the zone, also purchase his nomination form.

Earlier in a motion for the adoption Umahi for second term, Chairman of Afikpo South local government area of the state, Chief Chima said the governor has done so much that only thing that would sustain the tempo of development in the state will be re-election of governor Umahi for a second term.

Seconding the motion, member representing Ivo South Constituency, Mazi Oliver Osi commended the governor for his support and his numerous developmental projects in the state and beyond.

Governor Umahi, while responding to the endorsement described the show of solidarity and love by the stakeholders of Ebonyi South and assured them that his administration will continue to sustain the development of the state.

He assured them that his administration is committed to development of all sectors of the state by ensuring that every sector is developed simultaneously.
