Lesbian Woman Hospitalized After Mob Attack As Police Declares Fleeing Partner Wanted.

The Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police has declared a fleeing lesbian suspect identified as Esther Enioluwa Bello wanted after she was reportedly caught in the sacrilegious act of same-sex practice with another woman in a hotel in a remote community in Benin City.

Esther Enioluwa Bello and ogunyemi Boluwatife of no.11 Ehigie Street Benin technical college Road in Benin City were said to have been caught by a hotel attendant in a remote community few minutes after checking into their room on November 19th 2024, on Esther Enioluwa Bello’s birthday.

A close source at the hotel told our correspondent that the 2 lesbian suspects had earlier placed an order for some refreshments at the bar section of the hotel before checking into one of the rooms in the hotel.

It was further gathered that while the hotel attendant was returning with the refreshments unsuspectingly, she met a slightly opened door without the locks on as the door was instantly thrown open with a mild knock and the 2 lesbian suspects caught secretly indulging in the sacrilegious act of same-sex practice.

In utter bewilderment, the room attendant immediately raced down to the office of the manager to report the unfolding sacrilege happening at the hotel, it was gathered

While in company of other guests at the hotel who received the report of the unfolding sacrilege in shock, the hotel manager hurriedly rushed down to the room where the sacrilege had taken place to catch a glimpse of the sacrilege.

According to the information made available, the crowd of irate youths and other guests led by the manager angrily pounced on the 2 lesbian women for desecrating the community.

It was said that the 2 lesbian women were ruthlessly tortured until one of the women, Boluwatife instantly slumped on the floor with all her body covered in blood.

As desperate efforts were made by a cross section of the angry mob to resuscitate the dying Boluwatife, her partner, Esther Enioluwa Bello was said to have instantly taken advantage of the momentary distraction caused by Boluwatife’s slumping on the ground by dashing off to escape from the hotel through a backend exit door at the hotel.

She was reportedly given a chase by some of the angry youths of the community but was said to have instantly lost sight of her pursuers after running into the cover of the darkness of the night to hide herself from the angry mob, it was confirmed.

Meanwhile, policemen on night patrol were later invited by the hotel management and Boluwatife, who was rather lying unconciously on the floor after several failed attempts to resuscitate her, was later taken away for urgent medical attention.

A police statement released by the Edo State Command of the Nigerian Police however stated that the Command received a disturbing report of 2 lesbian women who were reportedly caught in the act of same-sex practice in a remote hotel in Benin City.

It further added that while one of the lesbian suspects managed to escape after the violent mob action, her partner while in custody was later hospitalized for urgent medical attention.

The Command added that while concerted efforts through effective synergy with other security agencies across the country including the local vigilante network were underway to apprehend the fleeing lesbian suspect Esther Enioluwa Bello whose whereabouts remain unknown, she has been declared wanted for breaching the Same-sex Marriage Prohibition Act 2014.

In Nigeria, gross violation of the Same-sex Marriage Prohibition Act attracts a minimum of 14 imprisonment upon conviction.
