LAWMA rewards 20 distinguished staff members
The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), has rewarded 20 outstanding members of its staff from various units across the workshops in the state.
Assistant General Manager (AGM) Engineering services, Engr. Ayotunde Amodu, last Thursday at the agency’s headquarters in Ijora Olopa presented the gifts to the staff members for their excellent performances. He stated that those selected for the recognition among the nominees, were eminently qualified as they merited the honour bestowed unto them.
Amodu further added that all the recipients exhibited sterling qualities in the discharge of their duties, “they were found to be selfless and demonstrated full commitment to tasks assigned to them” he said.
The LAWMA Assistant General Manager reiterated that the General Manager of the Agency, Mr. Segun Olufemi Adedeji, would not relent on his effort to make Lagos State reclaim its position as one of the cleanest states in the country, irrespective of the state’s vast population.
The Deputy Controller LAWMA, Engr. Adeleke Kehinde lauded the award recipients for their contributions to further boost the Agency’s reputation.
He reinforced that the awards would further stimulate other staff members in their section to sustain effort at boost their performances and adding more value. The gifts given to the outstanding members of LAWMA staff include smart phones and IPhones.
Some of the awardees include, Engr. Dayo Asore, Engr. Kehinde Adeleke, Mr. Bode Adedeji, Engr. Gbenga Jolaosho, among others.
