Lampard: I now appreciate Man Utd striker Ronaldo more than Messi
Chelsea great Frank Lampard admits he’s learned to appreciate Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo more than Lionel Messi.
Lampard feels Ronaldo is a better big match performer than the PSG star.
“I’ve always been a fan of Messi,” Lampard said. “But now I would prefer Ronaldo, given the performances of Cristiano and his goals in big games.”
This season, 36-year-old Ronaldo has scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 16 games.
The 34-year-old Messi has four goals and four assists in 11 meetings.
