Lagos Police arrest cleric with human parts
A cleric identified as Alfa Kayode Abdulfatai has been arrested and paraded by the Lagos State Police Command for being in possession of human parts in the Moshood Gbadabiu area of Alakuko, Lagos.
According to the State Police Commissioner, CP Edgal Imohimi, the human parts included a female virginal, heart laps and kidney.
Imohimi revealed that the body parts had been cut into bits and kept inside a yellow plastic in the suspect’s one – room self contained apartment on Okeidumola street.
Speaking to journalists, Abdulfatai said he got the human parts from a young man whose name he chose not to disclose.
Making his confessional statement, the suspect said “One Ifa priest sent one Sadiq, who brought them to my house. He asked me to keep them. I did not participate in the killing. I don’t even know where the person who brought them lives, the Ifa priest is in a better position to say.

“The human parts are meant for money rituals. I have been an Alfa for 10 years but I have never prepared any money ritual concoction with human parts before, this is my first time.”
The State Police Boss also stormed the home of the alleged partner in crime but met his absence.
The CP directed the Divisional Police Officer in-charge of Alakuko, Ajayi Abayomi, a Chief Superintendent of Police, to place plain clothes policemen close to the priest’s apartment on Amje Igbeleyi street, Alakuko to speed up his arrest.
Residents of the area also expressed shock on the discovery saying they never knew the alleged priest was even an Ifa priest nor did they suspect his involvement in such heinous crime.
They alleged he had only moved into the environment two weeks back.
One who gave his name simply as Tunde said:”This so called man just moved into this street two weeks ago. He doesn’t even talk to people. We only noticed he had been relating with one other Of a priest who lives not too far from him too. That h man parts were discovered in his apartment is more than surprising.”
Unconfirmed report also has it that the Ifa Priest has been arrested.
