Lady violently pushes priest off stage during Mass Live Broadcast
A drama which played out at the closing event of a retreat held by a Catholic TV, CanCao Nova, saw Brazil’s celebrity Catholic Priest Fr. Marcelo Rossi being pushed down from the altar by a yet-to-be-identified woman.
It was gathered that the incident occurred as Fr. Marcelo Rossi addressed the faithfuls during a mass held in the City of Cachoeira Paulista, in the interior of the state of Sao Paulo on the afternoon of Sunday, July 14, 2019.
Though the Catholic priest didn’t get hurt and resumed the mass almost immediately, the police revealed that the woman’s friends said she has a history of mental disorder upon being arrested.
