Kwara State Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed, Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi Honours

After thorough research into the achievements of His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, the 6th Executive Governor of Kwara State and Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Babatunde Ogunwusi, the duo was rewarded accordingly at the just concluded 9th edition of LEAD project annual lecture which took place at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Victoria Island, Lagos.
At the 9th edition of the award, Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed received the LEAD Project Africa ‘Man of the Year’ for 2017 award.
Ooni of Ife His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, was also awarded the Lead Royal Icon of the Year. He was represented by Oba Adeyemi-Asaoya of Isoya-Ile.
The Lead Africa Think Tank Awards, is an annual corporate event that recognises and rewards governments, industries, companies and individuals that are making giant strides in their fields and contributing immensely to the economic society.
According to the organizers, the award of excellence was bestowed on his Excellency for his high-performance since assuming office and his track record of achievement which established him as an expert in strategic planning and resource optimization. Meanwhile, Ooni of Ife, Oba Ogunwusi was honoured with Royal Icon of the year for his role in promoting Yoruba culture both home and abroad.
Olajumoke Omoniyi Oduwole, SSA to the president on industry, trade and investment, Nnamdi Ezeigbo, MD Slot telecommunication, Alhaji Garba Bello Kankarofi, the registrar of APCON and other top dignitaries were also honoured for the achievement.
