Kwara police declare 10 wanted over Jebba killing

The Kwara State police command has declared 10 persons including a school principal wanted in connection with the killing of three persons in Jebba town in Moro Local Government Area of Kwara state on last eid-el -fitri celebration.

In a press statement signed by the PPRO of the state police command, Ajayi Okasanmi, and made available to journalists in Ilorin last weekend, said the declaration was sequel to issuance of warrant of arrest by a court of competent jurisdiction.

The suspects, according to police, include, Alhaji Kayode Okedare, Yahaya Seriki, Olarongbe Kolawole, Tunji Moses, Oluwasegun Okedare, Maigari Marafa, Ibrahim Aremu Olopoodo, Alhaji Bolaji Driver, Alhaji Tunde Osie, Isiaka Atanda Masun,

The statement said that the suspects disappeared into thin air after actively participating in the following cases, (1) criminal conspiracy, (2) illegal possession of fire arms (3) culpable homicide (4) rioting with dangerous weapons which resulted in loss of lives and destruction of property in Jebba. Moro LGA of Kwara state on July 6, 2016.

Anybody with useful information on the whereabouts of any or all of the wanted persons should not hesitate to inform the nearest police station.

The command assured the people of Kwara state of its readiness to ensure their safety at all times.
