Kogi communities jubilate over nomination of Shuaibu Audu
…urges Senate to confirm him as minister

Kogi State was agog with jubilations over the inclusion of Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu in the second batch of Ministerial nominees list sent to the Senate by the President, Senator Ahmed Bola Tinubu on Wednesday.
Several communities across the 3 Senatorial districts of the state applauded President Tinubu’s choice of Shuaibu Audu, the son of the late Governor of the state, Prince Abubakar Audu.
Aside his immense contribution to the success of the All Progressives Congress APC and Bola Tinubu electioneering campaign and the election proper, the people of the state are very happy with his philanthropy, generosity that have uplifted many from squalor to better conditions of living.
In the Western Senatorial district, a resident of Kabba/Bunu local government area, Mr Solomon Taiwo, testified that Alhaji Shuaibu Audu has assisted many communities by rehabilitating some dilapidated primary and secondary schools.
Taiwo added the ministerial nominee, who is an Igala by tribe has assisted many parents in ensuring that their wards went to schools by paying school fees for the poor.
At the Central Senatorial district, the residents attested to the fact that, Audu has visited the area severally to assist communities in execution of projects, such as sinking of boreholes and provision of water and reconstruction of schools.
Ismaila Omuya from Okene, thanked President Tinubu for considering, Shuaibu Audu for ministerial appointment from the state, as he has already shown his innate tendencies of kindness, patriotism and vision for the betterment of the entire people .

In every senatorial zone, Audu was said to have sunk not less than five boreholes in his determination to ensure the rural dwellers have access to clean and drinkable water.
His magnanimity knows no bounds as his own Eastern Senatorial district benefited immensely in the areas of education, health, water supply. New classrooms were constructed, while schools submerged by flood and windstorm were rehabilitated.
On Youths and Women empowerment , the youthful Audu, organised several skills acquisition programmes which have turned many unemployed are now either self employed or employers.
The riverine communities in the 10 flood prone local government areas of Kogi state, also jubillated, calling on the Senators to grant the wish of the President by confirming the appointment of Alhaji Shuaibu Abubakar Audu as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
