Klopp plans to leave Liverpool in 2024

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that he plans to leave Liverpool in 2024 when his contract with the Premier League Champions expires, according to SportsBuzzer.

The German recently led the Reds to their first ever Premier League title and first top flight title in 30 years.

Liverpool are also the current holders of the Champions League but will relinquish their title having been eliminated by Atletico Madrid before the coronavirus lockdown.

His current contract at Anfield expires in 2024 and the recently crowned Premier League manager of the season has shared an insight into his plans in four years’ time.

“I’ll take a year off and ask myself if I miss football. If I say no, then that will be the end of coach Jurgen Klopp, if one day I am no longer a coach, there is one thing I will not miss: the brutal tension immediately before the game.” he told SportsBuzzer.

Klopp has previously managed in his native Germany with Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund, leading the latter to the last Bundesliga title won by a team other than Bayern Munich.
