Kim K Labeled a Murderer by Anti Fur Activists
Kim Kardashian recently promoted her new book, Selfish on Tuesday, in New York City. Although the event went relatively well for the reality star, a group of anti-fur activists made sure they let Kim know their feelings on her numerous fur-filled clothing items.
According to People magazine, about 10 anti-fur activists took it upon themselves to use her book signing event as a way to get back at her for wearing mink coats and other clothing made with fur or animal skin. The activists held up signs calling Kim a “murderer,”.
Aside holding signs, the angry activists were able to confront her face to face before being removed from the building. According to people magazine, one man, in particular, requested that Kim signed her book to all the animals that suffered for her.
“Can you make it out to all the animals that have been tortured and killed for you to wear a fur coat?”
The activists reportedly descended down the store’s escalators and continued to scream at Kim, reminding her that they think she’s a murderer who should be ashamed of herself.
Kim loves fur clothing. Numerous pictures depict her showing off a wardrobe consisting of fur- lined clothing.
This isn’t the first time Kim is receiving backlash over her love of fur. Earlier this year, Sharon Osbourne joined the growing list of people who are disconcerted by Kim’s outfits.
“I know PETA has asked the Kardashians to stop. (North) isn’t an accessory – she shouldn’t be wearing ugly couture clothes. (Fur) makes me physically sick, and wearing it is a very dated way of showing everyone how rich you are. Our grandparents did it, but now we’ve been educated, it’s cruel to keep the trade going.”
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has received good reviews on her new book. Selfish, to some people, is a word that truly depicts who she is. However, according to Time Newspaper, Kim actually spends a lot of time writing about the people behind the scenes who help her with make-up, hairstyles, and fashion.
