Killings: We are disappointed with the attitudes of FG -LG Chairman

The Chairman of Madagali Local Government area council of Adamawa state, Alhaji Yusuf Muhammad said he is disappointed with the attitude of federal government shown over the recent attacks in communities of Mildu,Wumbili and Bakin Dutse.
According to him the attacks led to the death of scores of people and wanton destruction of properties worth millions of Naira by the terror group knows as Boko Haram insurgents was incurred.
He bitterly complain that the lackadaisical attitude of the federal government to totally address the issues of insecurity in the area is becoming more worrisome, and is given room for the insurgents to be recouping again for a fresh attacks.
Yusuf revealed that on recent times only the state government have been supporting the fight against Boko Haram in Madagali, the Federal government did not show a single concern on the killings of the affected communities where scores of people were reported dead and many others were injured.
“The recent triple attacks in Madagali communities is uncalled for and it’s surprising to see the unconcern attitude of the Federal government not to send a delegation committee to even commiserate with us over the ugly incident that befalls us. ‘Yusuf said
“You need to go and see how my people are suffering, their communities was entire raised down, their means of live hood has been destroyed and no single concern was shown to my people. Our First, second and third priority is security, please let the federal government provide enough security to my people.” He added
He continued to say that fighting against the terror group (Boko Haram) is a fight bigger than the state government and the Governor of Adamawa state,Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow has been greatly trying his best by sponsoring hunters and local vigilante curbing out insurgents in their communities.
“Security is our Major problem in Madagali, I’m pleading with the federal government to send more security apparatus to totally end this scrupulous individuals who are denying our people peace to settle down for this year’s farming activities.
“I’m assuring you, if there is no enough security send down to Madagali these guys are recouping, they will resurface again to capture
many areas in northern Adamawa state.”
Yusuf is pleading with the federal government to seriously look into the issues of Madagali by sending a powerful delegation and see the wanton damaged of lives and properties done by the insurgents.
