Kidnappers On The Trail of Escapee, Kill Man, Vows To Return

Rampaging kidnappers in Benin City in company of suspected armed herdsmen terrorising travellers on the Benin-Auchi road have reportedly killed one Kingsley Umukoro on June 29th 2024 .
Reports however emerged that the kidnappers who were on the trail of a man who escaped from their captivity leaving behind his family after he was kidnapped along with his wife and son while travelling on the Benin-Auchi road .
Recall that herds men had earlier kidnapped Brorhie Otoka with family after stopping them abruptly while travelling on the Benin-Auchi road where the driver was reportedly killed for refusing to stop the car while in motion.
An eye-witness who spoke on condition of anonymity said the armed kidnappers who had been on the trail of the escapee after he fought one of the kidnappers who untied him in order for him to have his way with which however generated into a fight and Brorhie Otoka was said to have in the fight in the forest removed his hood which was covering his face and hurriedly fled leaving behind his wife and son.
In order for the fleeing escapee not to expose the identity and hideout of the kidnappers to law enforcement agents, they instantly deployed different strategies to track him down to his friend’s apartment using his wife as a decoy, it was confirmed.
According to the eye-witness, the said Brorhie Otoka was not around when the armed kidnappers stormed his friend’s apartment in search of him as they( kidnappers ) wasted no time in their operation instantly killing his friend on the spot..
It was however gathered that Brorhie Otoka’s wife and son were still in captivity after his sudden escape from their camp along the Benin-Auchi road .several days after they were kidnapped and ordered into the thick forest harbouring numerous camps for victims of herdsmen and kidnappers.
In 2021 an American-based Nigerian returning from Auchi on his way to Lagos State to board the next flight to America after christmas vacation with his kinsmen in Fugar in Etsako Central local government area of Edo State was kidnapped along the Benin-Auchi road and murdered in the forest .
Recently, many Nigerians have fallen victims of kidnapping plots along the Benin-Auchi as many cases remain unrepirtec while others who are unable pay huge ransoms to the kidnappers have lost their lives from the daring exploits of the marauding Kidnappers who are always on the prowl along the Benin-Auchi road usually in camoufag uniforms.
Meanwhile a source in the community who confided in our correspondent however revealed that Brorhie Otoka and his wife Obukowho Faith Orezimena like every other kidnapped victims were subjected to forms of abuse while in captivity.
Confirmed reports in the community disclosed that the kidnappers in their desperate quest vowed to apprehend the fleeing Brorhie Otoka who was said to have also reportedly fled from his hiding place in Lagos State several weeks after relocation immediately after his assailants tracked him down to Lagos State .
At the time of this report, his whereabouts however remain unknown to anyone in the community after the griesome murder of his friend on June29th.
