Kidnapped Deeper Life pastor regains freedom

A pastor from the Deeper Life Bible Church in Ondo State who was abducted from his church has been released.

After spending about a week in captivity, the pastor, Otamayomi Ogedengbe, was released.

Pastor Ogedengbe was abducted by his kidnappers during a church service in Akure South Local Government’s Irese axis last week.

His kidnappers demanded a ransom for his release after the kidnapping.

When told of the pastor’s release, a source who asked to remain anonymous said it was still unclear if the kidnappers’ demands for a ransom were met.

According to the source, the family and the pastor’s church members have been praying for his safe return since the abduction.

Meanwhile, as of press time, the state’s police command had yet to confirm the progress.
