Kebbi: Nigerian Legion gets N30m donation

Governor Bagudu of Kebbi State has donated the sum of N30 million to the state branch of the Nigerian Legion in a symbolic 2019 armed forces Remembrance Day. The Governor announced the donation at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi when the leadership of the Legion visited him. “We can’t pay them for securing the country and unity achieved so far,” Governor Bagudu has said. In his remarks, the State Chairman, Alhaji Umar Garba thanked the Governor for the gesture; he also urged the government to assist them to complete their state secretariat under construction.
