Kebbi Gov bags ANAN’s Honorary Fellowship award

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has awarded its prestigious Honorary Fellowship to Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), at the association’s 29th Annual Conference. The conference, theme “Advancing Accounting Excellence in a Changing World,” took place in Abuja on Tuesday, drawing dignitaries from across the country.

Governor Idris was represented at the event by his Deputy, Senator Umar Abubakar Tafida, who led a high-powered delegation including the Head of Service, Alhaji Sufyanu Garba Bena, the State APC Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Kana-Zuru, Commissioners, Special Advisers, and the State Accountant General, Alhaji Bello Ibrahim Nahaliku, among others.

The Honorary Fellowship was conferred on him in recognition of Governor Idris’s dedication to public service, his support for the association, and his commitment to transparency and accountability in his administration.

Receiving the award on behalf of the Governor, Senator Tafida expressed gratitude and reaffirmed the administration’s unwavering support for ANAN.

He also pledged the unwavering commitment of the Governor to upholding global best practices in transparency and accountability in managing the resources of Kebbi State.
