KACCIMA targets more foreign companies for Kano Trade Fair

The President, Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA), Alhaji Umar Dansuleka, said yesterday that the chamber would woo more foreign companies to its 2017 Trade Fair.

Dansuleka said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano that the participation of more foreign companies would enhance the status of the fair and open up new opportunities for businesses.

“If we invite more countries during the trade fair, more revenue will also be generated’, he added, saying that 12 countries participated in the 2016 edition of the Kano Trade Fair.

He said that in spite of the recession, the chamber would forge ahead to explore new sources through which Nigeria would gain maximally.

Dansuleka stressed that the chamber would introduce innovations to attract local and foreign participants, and challenged its workers to be more innovative in order to overcome current economic challenges.
