Kabul Hotel Attack: Death Toll Hits 14; Taliban Claim Responsibility
At least 14 people were killed in the attack on a hotel in Kabul on Wednesday night, a senior Afghan police official said.
Six people were wounded in the gun attack on the Park Palace Guest House for which the Taliban have claimed responsibility, said the police official, who declined to be identified.
An American citizen was among the dead, U.S. authorities have said. Four of the victims were Indian citizens, CNN affiliate IBN reported, citing foreign ministry sources.
