Jumia, Konga denounce being in partnership with TBC

Konga, a technology company is pivotal in using technology to meet business challenges has denounced some media publication captioned ‘Firm partners Jumia, Konga to boost TBC acceptance’, adding that Konga Online Shopping Limited is not in partnership with the firm as this headline is misleading and untrue.

Konga as a technology company is pivotal in using technology to meet business challenges as we constantly prove our commitment to deepening commerce and trade in Africa by supporting and empowering businesses but we are not in partnership with the said firm in this regard. We therefore advise the firm to desist in misleading the populace as we would not hesitate to take legal actions if they fail to give accurate presentation of what obtains.

Oluwayemisi Mafe PR &Government Relations Manager, Konga Online Shopping Limited stated this known in a statement made available to Daily Times, adding that Konga.com is Nigeria’s largest online mall, launched in July 2012 with a mission, ‘To Become the Engine of Commerce and Trade in Africa.’

The company, the statement said has recorded very rapid growth and in just 3 years, konga.com has built an operation that leads the market in customer satisfaction, merchandise shipped and innovation.

“The company has now evolved to become Nigeria’s most vibrant online marketplace with close to 30,000 merchants registered and selling on the platform.
