Jonathan, Ribadu won’t have my votes – PDP stalwart

One of the strong voice in People’s Democracy Party (PDP) in Adamawa State, Hon.Musa Kamela, has said that he will never cast his vote for President Goodluck and the state PDP gubernatorial candidate, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, in the forthcoming election.

Kamela, who is a top notcher of the party, lambasted the administration of President Jonathan of achieving nothing, describing the transformation agenda of his administration as “vague and meaningless without achieving any result”.

He further accused the ruling party of breaking the norms enshrined in the party’ constitution and introduced all forms of imposition which do not respect the values of internal democracy in the party, adding that he would vote against PDP and do everything possible to support opposition party to win in Adamawa State.

“President Goodluck Jonathan and Ribadu will never get my votes, I will rather work against the party I hold its membership card. If they like, let them expel me or accuse me of any anti-party activities”, Kamale said.

Kamale also said that the recent second coming of President Jonathan to Adamawa State, has further polarised PDP into wider faction as many of the members who were disenfranchised at the previous “Kangaroo” primaries, held in Abuja, categorically told the President that they would not vote for PDP until serious reconciliation is carried out.

“The second coming of Mr. President to the state do not hold any water as many supporters disagreed. I was there as MC of the meeting, no reconciliation of any sort has taken place, it was three issues that Mr. President talked about. One, that all members, who were disenfranchised, to withdraw any court case against the party. Two that all PDP members should make sure they work for PDP from top to bottom and thirdly, they should forgive one another.

“At the venue, some of the aggrieved members confidently told Jonathan at the meeting that they can only vote for him but to canvass votes for imposed Ribadu, they will not do it”, Musa added.
