Jonathan, Buhari Meet in Aso Rock
President Goodluck Jonathan on Friday met behind closed-doors with President- elect, General Muhammadu Buhari in the State House, Abuja.
The meeting was the first between the two leaders since Buhari emerged winner of last Saturday’s keenly contested election.
The two leaders had reportedly agreed to meet regularly and ensure a smooth transition during their phone conversation on Tuesday.
Details of the meeting held at the New Banquet Hall were not made known to journalists.
