Jonathan Appoints Adedoja as pro Chancellor

President Goodluck Jonathan as appointed Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, a former Minister of Sports and Special duties as the Chairman and Pro-Chancellor of Federal University, Dutse in Jigawa State.

Adedoja, while addressing newsmen in Ibadan on Friday, said that he gave glory to God for the new appointment, promising not to disappoint the people.

Adedoja, a seasoned Educationist, Journalist and a technocrat.

He was a former Dean of the Faculty of Education at Bayero University Kano and Provost, Federal College of Education Oyo, and had served as consultant to several International agencies including the World Bank, British Council and UNICEF.

Adedoja was a former Commissioner for Education and Chairman, State Universal Basic Education Board, both in Oyo State.

He was a former Minister of Sports and Special Duties and was until this appointment a member, Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State.
