An unemployed man, Jamiu Ogungbe, who allegedly disrupted a vigil, was on Thursday brought before a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos State.
Ogungbe, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and breach of peace.
The prosecutor, Mr Akpan Ikem, told the court that the accused committed the offence with some other persons still at large on Aug. 24 at about 3.00a.m at Javie, Badagry.
Ikem said that the accused stormed the vigil, which was peaceful and disorganised it.
“He conducted himself in a manner likely to breach the peace when he disorganised the vigil,’’ he said.
The offence contravened Sections 168 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
