In the ongoing registration of candidates by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for examinations into higher institutions of learning in the country, the Public Relations Officer of the body, Ibrahim Umar Mungadi has said that so far they have registered at least 1,768 applicants for this year’s UTME registration.
The image maker who made the disclosure in his office in Birnin Kebbi added that the decentralization of the registration points reduced the pressure from the state headquarters.
He stated that two registration centres have been established in Jega and Zuru to ease transportation burden on applicants, and those from Yauri can come to Zuru to register.
He described their relationship with the state government as cordial, but urged them to open more centres for the examination body.
